| MESA CENECERA MODERNA |
La mesa de centro de sala es un clásico tema de diseño del cual se han producido una infinidad de variantes. Siguiendo la idea de que un objeto bien diseñado debe verse completo en sí mismo, sin partes que agregar o retirar, le dimos a la mesa planos verticales y horizontales muy marcados, líneas y proporciones estrictas, al estilo Bauhaus.
Originalmente fue fabricada en triplay, material humilde que envejeció no muy airosamente. Estas fotos muestran una nueva versión con acabados en poliuretano rojo brillante, esmalte negro mate y, omo contrapunto visual, un tablero superior con elementos de madera natural cortados en CNC acabados en laca transparente: mi pequeño homenaje al modernismo de los años 20! |

| LA RATONERA - VIVIENDO EN 30 m2 |
Vivir en espacios pequeños ha pasado a ser no solo la respuesta a un presupuesto ajustado sino también una decisión ética (reducción del consumo innecesario) y parte de un estilo de vida consciente y libremente elegido. En estas circunstancias, las alternativas usuales de organización del espacio, selección de mobiliario y decoración, dejan de ser viables.
En este departamento, inicialmente de un dormitorio separado y un baño minúsculo, decidimos agrandar el baño e integrar cocina, área de estar y dormitorio en un solo ‘gran’ espacio. La inspiración para el mobiliario empotrado la encontramos en los camarotes de barco y en las casas rodantes. La Ratonera es un espacio multifuncional comodo y austero a la vez. |

| CONDOMINIO MULTIFAMILIAR |
Los barrios populares de las grandes capitales del mundo tienden a ocupar todos los intersticios de la trama urbana. El Agustino, muy cerca del centro histórico de Lima, no es excepción. La vista de esas viviendas ocupando las faldas de sus cerros adyacentes hasta alturas increíbles nos suscita admiración y asombro.
La existencia en la zona de un terreno libre en la intersección de dos vías importantes y frente a un parque fue casi un milagro. Los propietarios del inmueble nos pidieron seis duplexes y tres flats más un restaurante en primer nivel. El arreglo en terrazas hace un referente visual a la arquitectura no regulada de los alrededores, contribuyendo al caracter pintoresco y alegre del area. |

| PROTOTIPO MESA PLEGABLE |
Esta mesa plegable está pensada para trabajar junto con una mesa baja, que le sirve de base y en la cual se apoya con un sistema de muescas. La idea es que la mesa baja sirve como centro de sala pero en el momento de la cena la otra mesa se despliega sirviendo como mesa de comedor. Es una solución conveniente para espacios sociales muy pequeños. La mesa adquiere su posición desplegada con un sistema de magnetos de neodimio, que asegura su estabilidad y uso seguro.
El prototipo necesita ser perfeccionado con un sistema más adecuado de accesorios, la partes deben ser cortadas con precisión usando CNC y debe poder ofrecerse en distintos acabados de acuerdo a diferentes estilos de decoración. |

| CNC MODERN LOW TABLE |
The living room coffee table is a classic design theme from which there have been an infinite number of variations. Following the idea that a well-designed object should look complete in itself, with no parts to add or remove, I gave the table very sharp vertical and horizontal planes, strict lines and proportions, in style of the original Bauhaus.
It was originally manufactured in plywood, humble material that aged not very gracefully. These pictures show a new version with high polished red polyurethane enamel, flat black paint and, as a visual counterpoint, an upper top with natural wood elements cut with CNC with a clear lacquer finish: my humble tribute to early modernism of the 20s! |

| THE MOUSE TRAP - LIVING IN 330 Sq Ft |
Living in small spaces has become not only an answer to a tight budget but also an ethical decision (reduction of unnecessary consumption) and part of a conscious and freely chosen lifestyle. In these circumstances, the usual alternatives of space organization, selection of furniture and decoration, are no longer viable.
In this apartment, initially with separate bedroom and a tiny bathroom, we decided to enlarge the bathroom and integrate kitchen, living area and bedroom in a single ‘grand’ space. We found the inspiration for the custom, built-in furniture in boat cabins and in mobile homes.The Mousetrap is a live/work multiuse space at same time comfortable and austere. |

| MULTIFAMILY CONDOMINIUM |
The low-income areas of the great capitals of the world try to occupy all the interstices of the urban fabric. El Agustino, very close to the historic center of Lima, is no exception. The sight of these houses, occupying the skirts of the adjacent hills to incredible heights, arouses in us admiration and amazement.
The existence in the area of an open lot at the intersection of two important roads in front of a park in was almost a miracle. The owners of the property asked us for six duplexes and three flats plus a street level restaurant. The arrangement in terraces makes a visual reference to the unregulated architecture of the surroundings, with its picturesque and care-free, joyful spirit. |

| FOLDING TABLE PROTOTYPE |
This folding table has been designed to work together with a low table, which serves as its base, by which it is supported by a system of notches carved in the legs. The idea is that the low table serves as the living room center but at proper time the upper table is deployed serving as a dining table. It is a convenient solution for apartments with a very small social area. The table takes its deployed position with a system of neodymium magnets, which ensures its stability and safe use.
The prototype needs to be perfected with a more suitable system of fittings; the parts must be cut accurately using CNC and it should be offered in different finishes according to different interior design styles. |
